Time and time again, I see Shapiro labeled "White Supremacist" and my reaction can't be anything but a facepalm. When asked about what makes him a white supremacist, as far as what he has said or done, they are either quiet or say something like "He's always talking about how white people are victims of this and that". Now, this whole post could be seen as a "strawman" if there were legitimate reasons to consider him a white supremacist, but there aren't. This is really all they have to go on. So if you think Ben Shapiro often talking about the "victimization" of whites makes him a white supremacist, then what does that make any black person talking about the victimization of black people? Are they "Black Supremacists"? So, using that logic, it boils down to this A) If Ben Shapiro is a white supremacist, Martin Luther King Jr. was also a black supremacist. B) If Ben Shapiro is not a- "Stop right there, did you just compare the REAL struggle of blacks in the 60's to modern day white problems?! How dare you!" No, I did not. The thing I am attempting to convey to here is that these people consider anyone they disagree with to be supremacists, racists, sexists, etc. If Ben Shapiro is wrong about the "victimization" of whites, it still doesn't make him a white supremacist. It would just make him wrong. Him being wrong (And I emphasize that he isn't wrong) still doesn't mean you can just label him a white supremacist. As, hypothetically, if he was wrong, then the only differences between him and Martin Luther King Jr. are their skin color and if they're right or wrong. No white or black supremacy anywhere to be found in either, regardless of who is wrong or right. Let me reiterate: being wrong or right does not make you a racist or supremacist. Disagreeing with you does not make someone a racist, sexist, or bigot. That's not how it works... now go drink more of that Kool-Aid before the right-wing starts making too much sense to you. If you have better than that to back up the claim that he is a white supremacist, feel free to comment. Just know that there are high odds that you'll be met with a "How so?" if you don't cover that base already. I don't waste much time on declarative statements (Conclusions without premises) that aren't supported by sources, citations, facts, premises etc.
